SK07-TAC: Outdoor knife handmade in SB1 steel and handle in micarta incl. Kydex
Mal something completely different from the design .. a touch of the tactical style. At the beginning of March I became aware of Christoph from "Forgeworks", who has a high recognition value with his knives. I immediately liked this subtle tactical design, although I had little else in the tactical look. So I asked Christoph if he had anything against a collaboration and would produce the SK07 for me.
His enthusiasm was so great that after 10 milliseconds he sent me the first draft on my cell phone. I only had a few change requests left and he went straight to work. The idea was to connect a large knife with a back-up knife. I also wanted the back-up knife with handles. The SK07 knife is now available in 3 versions and as a double pack separately.
The new SK07-TAC knife
Here I would like to introduce you to the big SK07-TAC. Basically, the SK07 series is very rustic. Handle scales and blades are completely grooved and have a great look. The SK07-TAC is absolutely great in my hand with size 11 gloves. I even have some space at the end of the handle. The pronounced finger recess ensures good handling, which you can find again and again in my SK series. The SK07-Tac is made entirely by hand. Only the cutting of the pure blade shape was done by machine. The blade of the SK07-TAC was subjected to a cryo treatment, i.e. during the heat treatment the blade was cooled down considerably.
Here are a few specifications:
