It was important to me that it was made from AEB-L steel. I have been enthusiastic about it ever since Christoph made a knife for Rosi with this steel. I am so enthusiastic about this steel that I also have our SK07-EDC partially built with it. The Gentleman is a nice little slicer and fits quickly in your pocket. I chose this model because the similarly built Kwaiken is bevelled towards the tip of the blade, which I don't like at all and affects the beautiful line of the knife. It's different here with the Gentleman... a nice continuous line to the tip of the blade.
