Forge Works - Gentleman - EDC knife with 3mm AEB-L steel and G10 handle in OD green
At the KNIFE-2022 in Solingen, Christoph had his booth right next to ours. That was practical because you know and trust each other and were able to discuss one or the other project. On his table he had this really beautiful EDC knife. Talked about it briefly and it was clear that I would include it in the shop.
It was important to me that it was made from AEB-L steel. Ever since Christoph made a knife for Rosi with this steel, I've been enthusiastic about it. I am so enthusiastic about this steel that I also have our SK07-EDC built with it. The Gentleman is a nice little slicer and fits in your pocket for a moment. I chose this model because the similarly built Kwaiken is beveled towards the blade tip, which I don't like at all and affects the beautiful line of the knife. It's different here with the Gentleman....a beautiful continuous line up to the tip of the blade.
Great knife... the first impression at the KNIFE-2022 was confirmed!
