Who hasn't already heard or read it? EDC is mentioned again and again in the knife scene. But what does it mean? As for the word itself, it's translated from English and quite banally means "every day carry" (EDC = Every Day Carry). That can include many things. For some it is their mobile phone and keys, for the knife lover their knife and care oil.
What I personally mean by EDC
I myself call EDC the articles or knives that I don't immediately draw attention to in public in everyday use. As an EDC, I therefore see pocket knives or generally slipjoint knives or hold a fine small fixed knife, which does not resemble a machete in size.
