*** Special *** SK07 chef's knife in the style of the SK07-Tac with raffir wood and AEB-L steel handcraft
SK07 chef's knife? Yes ... Chris had the idea to make a chef's knife in the style of the SK07 design. At first I wasn't convinced ... but why not? Should he do it. And what can I say? ... Awesome! Certainly not to be compared with high-gloss polished Japanese chef's knives, as well as ... this is the design takeover of our successful SK series.
This chef's knife has a grooved thumb jimping and the handle and the back of the blade are grooved like the SK07. He put the thumb jimping to the front because it should only have an optical aspect. And when something's in there after the work is done ... just put water on it .. ready.
Thanks Chris .. for this idea and implementation! Dream hand position thanks to the pronounced finger recess.
I only got to know steel itself through Chris. Here he had given Rosi a little petty and I am convinced of the steel. The cleaning of the blade is super easy and the edge retention is enormous. This steel, which is also often used for razor blades, can also be finely ground.
