SK08-Perski Custom knife with Pertinax and damask jaws by M. Leimküller from Solingen 100% handcraft
This SK08-Perski is a dream of the finest craftsmanship. Here you can see the "love" and quality with which Matthias builds his knives. As a transition from Pertinax to the blade, he used forged damask and shaped it as a cheek piece. But here, too, he didn't just put it on the blade ... NO ... he also soldered it so that no moisture could easily get under the handle. Brilliant!
Matthias Leimküller produces our SK08-Perski entirely by hand and thus joins the production of our SK series. Our SK range includes various knives that I designed in collaboration with the manufacturing company. So the ideas flow from both "heads" into a knife.
The SK08-Perski is produced entirely by hand by Matthias Leimküller in his small "cellar kotten" in Solingen. He attaches great importance to quality. The SK08-Perski is full and comfortable in the hand, which is always very important to me personally. Even "simple handle designs" are complex to work with if you want top quality at the end of the day.
You can also see top custom quality in the leather sheaths. Here you can see what high quality standard Matthias has for his work.
The SK08-Perski is not just a knife for the showcase, because it is a real custom knife. No .. the SK08 wants to be used!
