Sale - Charles Canon pocket knife from France with granite handle from Mont Blanc
Great concept by Charles Canon from France to use unusual materials for the handles. Except for the stone variant, I have never seen anyone use mussel shells or coal as the handle material. But why are these knives being sold off? It's simple....the French are all about functionality...the German customer is all about quality. The knives are good and work if there weren't some gaps between the liner and the back spring. When ordering August 2020, I had specifically pointed out that attention would be paid to this. Unfortunately, the manufacturer was not interested. So that I don't have to evaluate and photograph every single knife, I decided to sell them off, especially since we have a large number of collector customers.
So if you are not a collector or can live with possible gaps, then you have something very special with this knife. It's a great feeling to know what extraordinary material you're holding in your hands. You get a beautiful wooden box with the knife.
