For the first time, JiYi from J.E. Made Knives the blades of the Lanny's clip with a partial cut. The cutting area is provided with a hollow grind. The tip remains as a flat grind and therefore has more material. But what does this mean for you as a customer?
This type of production means a considerable amount of additional work, but the point behind it is completely logical. The hollow grind ensures pure cutting performance. Since the blade tip has a lot more material due to the flat grinding, it is also more stable. The transition from hollow ground to flat ground is hardly noticeable and, as usual with Jemade Knives, in extremely high manufacturing quality.
