Handcrafted EDC custom knife made of RWL-34 / handle mammoth tusk / leather sheath
The highlight of the OQ Fixed Knives is certainly this EDC knife with a handle made of mammoth tusk. The well-known Solingen knife maker Matthias Leimküller has built a high-quality leather sheath for this noble handle material. This is additionally lined in the front inner area and has a belt device.
In his kitchen, Oliver Weber uses simple means to produce high-quality knives entirely by hand. After I provided him with various handle materials, we have now received the first Fixed EDC knives from him.
The design of the knife comes from Virgil Schoor. He is very active in the knife forum and took part in a competition years ago. Ultimately, however, he chose a different design for the competition. Oliver asked Virgil whether this unused design he could produce exclusively for the knife depot. A few days later, Virgil emailed me and gave me permission.
You will receive the pictured knife. Color deviations are possible due to the photography.
I want to point out that mammoth tusk is a beautiful handle material but will break on hard impact. This is simply due to the structure of the material.
