Böker Swell-End Jack Slipjoint pocket knife with handle made of curly birch colored green
With this Swell-End Jack I had to check twice myself whether it was colored and stabilized curly birch or an epoxy handle. The green comes across so strongly that it is a real highlight. It looks very different on the Boker side and I am glad to have received this model with the bright colors.
The Böker Swell-End Jack is another classic knife shape that has been found on European farmers' markets and in typical general stores in American settlements since the turn of the century. The handy pocket knife owes its name to the traditional construction, which becomes noticeably wider at the end of the handle and thus shifts the focus of the knife to the rear. In addition to the satined main blade made of ice-hardened N690 with 60 to 61 HRC, the knife is also equipped with a bottle opener, which can also be used as a screwdriver. The blade has a modern ricasso and is opened with a nail cut. The operational safety of the slipjoint is increased by a 90 degree detent when opening and closing. The green, stabilized handle scales are made of local curly birch wood, which is characterized by its rich color and striking grain. The characteristic cheeks are made of nickel silver. Handcrafted in the Boker knife factory in Solingen. With a high-quality felt case for storage.
