Böker Club Slipjoint pocket knife jute with O1 steel
The traditional Böker Club Knife is the elegant brother of the famous Böker sports knife, known in North America as the Camp Knife. With almost the same dimensions, however, the shape is continuous and is not interrupted by recesses for the tools. The characteristic metal bracket for attaching a knife chain is also missing from the Club Knife. In addition to the scales made of structured jute micarta, the slipjoint knife is characterized by the use of brass plates and carbon steel O1 as the blade material, which is hardened to 60 HRC.
To emphasize the authenticity of the knife, the blade is given a special acid wash finish, which also protects it from harmful environmental influences. A tight spring keeps the blade open and at 90 degrees. The decorative jaws of the Club Knife are made of nickel silver and are decorated with a finely milled groove. The long nail nick, also called long pull, is provided with fine teeth and thus allows suitable matches to be ignited. Handmade in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
You get the product shown at a special price, because I got a very small flaw in the inner brass liner while taking pictures. Optics only.
