Böker Boxer EDC Knife brown micarta according to Raphael Durand with M390 steel
Böker Boxer is a first-class EDC slipjoint pocket knife with an edge-retaining blade made of M390 steel in a stonewashed finish. Thanks to the slipjoint mechanism, the Böker Boxer designed by Raphael Durand can be carried with you every day. Brown micarta is used as the handle material. This brown micarta already has a wonderful "durty look" in the delivery condition and becomes a little darker over time and use.
Slipjoint - soft back spring
With the Böker Boxer Slipjoint, the blade is held in position by the back end spring. The strength of the back spring is not comparable to the spring tension of a J.E. Compare Made Knives. The blade can be gently pulled out of the handle with 2 hands and then holds its position. In the social media this is sometimes rated as negative, but let's be honest, if you cut something with the blade, the pressure goes up and mechanically it is not possible to collapse the Klinige. On the other hand, you get excited when the return spring is too tight and your fingernails just fly away. In my opinion, the Böker Boxer is precisely tailored and is a lot of fun every day.
