Once you have this knife in your possession, you won't give it back so quickly. It's unbelievable what the South African knife maker conjures up here. The inlays are extremely precisely adjusted and you don't feel any transition by hand. The entire grip feels extremely smooth.
But the further processing is also HIGH-LEVEL! The accuracy he has as a young knife maker is fascinating. I think in a few years Arno Basson will be one of the greats.
Many of his work steps are done by hand, especially everything that concerns the finish. And it's the little things that make the knife something special. Clip and liner are color matched and provided with an "orange peel". The blade has a wonderful two-tone finish that is satin-finished by hand. The shape of the knife with the blade folded out is a dream.
